Ever wondered how those in Hollywood stay so young?

We are in the time when everyone is in the mood to make their New Year's resolutions. As usual, weight loss will top everyone's list. Because New Years is one of those special occasions that tend to remind people about aging, and make them feel and think about a portion of their youth that is fleeting away. Finding ways nowadays to keep that youthful look and being filled with vibrant energy is equally important as trimming down the holiday weight.

There are proven ways that can slow down the effects of time, and that will be shown to you here. The first thing that we must understand and have to look into is why people age prematurely. Once we have realized this, then we can do measures to stop it, reverse it to some extent, or even do better.

You see so many people looking old, and even physically haggard, before their time. Why this happens is quite simple: they have lived an acidic lifestyle.

However, my good news for you is that you can still change this lifestyle now. At the moment you begin the change, you will start living healthy. You will immediately begin to feel better and eventually look younger. You just have to make that decision to get rid of that acid lifestyle that you are now in and begin what we call an "alkaline" living.

With some help, you can easily shift into that alkaline life. You'll shed weight and be amazed with it. You'll feel better, and you'll look younger. And I'm sure you'll never want to go back to living "the other way."

 

Diet Change

Let us first understand what it means living an acidic lifestyle. It simply means that you are ingesting foods and liquids that are acidic. This is terribly harmful for your body.

Breaking that preference for acidic food is the most important part of living alkaline. That's just exactly what you need in order to be successful in your weight loss attempt.

There's a long list of items that can cause your body to age at a seemingly faster rate. These are foods and liquids that you must avoid. Some of those in the list have been taken and listed down here so you can immediately get started. They are:

  • Candies, chocolates, cookies and other similar foods with more than enough sugar content which is converted into harmful acids in the body.

  • Breads, rolls, and pastries are serious weight threats and are notorious for stacking on the weight.

  • Beer, wine, and liquor.

  • Spaghetti sauce, mayonnaise, ketchup, salad dressing, and most other condiments - it's these little things that most people take lightly when preparing their food, but contributing significantly to their weight gain. You can actually ruin a nice, healthy salad by drowning it in dressing.

  • Processed meat, like most luncheon meats, corned pork or beef are packed with ingredients and preservatives that will just stuff your body with acids.

  • Soda, whether you drink lemon-lime, cola, or even root beer, is harming your physique. In addition to causing the acidic build-up, sodas also cause you to gain weight.
  • Now that you know some of the things you can't eat, what then is left for you? Of course there are still plenty. We can now start learning about living in what we call the alkaline life.

    I assure you that you're going to lose weight, look great, and be happy.

    Start eating the right way, and you will do more than just lose weight. You will begin a reversal of the aging process, and you will really notice a change in your physical, as well as your mental wellness.

    Start eating foods that are nutrient rich, not calorie rich. This will systematically purge out those "acids," which have accumulated in your body for so many years,

    Take protein in the form of lean cuts of fresh meat, chicken breast, fish, and raw vegetables when choosing foods that will create an alkaline environment in your body. You might also need to seriously consider going organic. The first benefit that you get is a higher quality of food.

    Juicing as much as possible will be best in order to supplement your diet. This is a great and healthy habit that you can get into. You will be ingesting nutrient-rich vegetables in a shorter amount of time, something for which your body will really be grateful to you.

    No idea how juicing is done? We will go into that on a more in depth discussion. Meanwhile, you can substitute juicing with a "green drink," which is a very easy, timesaving alternative.

    Be sure to add plenty of fresh water to your diet. Soda and all those sugary juices just aren't good substitute, no matter how "diet" or "healthy" people claim them to be - they hinder any weight loss program with every sip.

    That's it. Establishing that alkaline environment in your body and living healthy is that simple and straightforward process. Take turkey, eat tuna, fill your diet with raw vegetables (organic if you can do it), and take plenty of fresh water.

    At the start, you may need a little adaptation to this kind of lifestyle, especially if you've been living unhealthy for most of your life. You can make the change in a gradual manner. Start drinking water instead of soda, and introduce more greens into your diet. As you begin to feel the wonderful change overtake your body, the rest of the switch to the alkaline lifestyle will be easy and your weight loss will be permanent.
